Avalon Bay 18-Bottle Thermoelectric Wine Cooler Review + Giveaway

Wine Refrigerator

Though I truly enjoy both red and white wines, I tend to drink far more red than white -- mainly because I'm forgetful... and impatient.

When the mood strikes me to have a glass of wine, often I've forgotten to chill a bottle of white and I'm just not interested in waiting the amount of time it will take for one to cool down. So I reach for a nice red and call it a day.

Wine Cooler

That was until Air & Water contacted me asking if I was interested in sharing a review of one of their Avalon Bay Wine Coolers. Um, yeah, as a matter of fact, nothing would make me happier than getting to test out one of these awesome freestanding wine refrigerators.

I mean, perfectly chilled white wine anytime? Yes, please!

Chilled White Wine

I received the Avalon Bay 18-Bottle Thermoelectric Wine Cooler, which is probably a little more cooler space than I need at this time, but I'm sure I'll fill it up in no time. And actually, it's surprisingly small for such a large capacity!

Right now it sits next to the buffet in the dining area of our kitchen, but eventually we have plans to build a bar in our media room, and it will have a permanent home there.

Wine Refrigerator Review

We've been more than satisfied with this beautiful wine refrigerator. It's very quiet, and the digital display and stainless steel finish pair perfectly with the other stainless appliances in our kitchen.

The shelves slide out, so you can easily view your wine or even remove the racks to accommodate larger than average bottles, and it does a fantastic job of keeping wine at a constant temperature (set it anywhere from 51 to 64 degrees).

The manufacturer's suggested retail price on the Avalon Bay 18-Bottle Thermoelectric Wine Cooler is $207.99, but it's currently priced at just $159.99 on Air & Water. Even better, Unsophisticook readers can use promotion code SAVE20 to save an additional 20% off, making it just $127.99 with FREE ground shipping. Score!

+++++++++++++++

I'm so thrilled to share that Air & Water has provided me with an Avalon Bay 18-Bottle Wine Cooler to give away to one lucky Unsophistcook reader so you can store your wine at its optimal temperature!

There is a lovely winery in Madison Indiana that sells the best house red I have ever drank. It is called Mill Street Red and it is amazing!

I will pick a fun new white wine based on bottle design to chill. I never do that but I’ll splurge for fun with the new cfooler. Great giveaway.

Our fridge is always so full with other groceries, it would be great to have a dedicated wine fridge, especially when guests turn up. Perfectly chilled chardonnay sounds wonderful.
