From drippy ice cream cones to sticky toasted marshmallows, summer messes are inevitable… For good clean summer fun, we stock up on Wet Ones Hand Wipes. They make cleanup quick and easy!
This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Wet Ones® Hand Wipes. The opinions and text are all mine.
My kids have outgrown a lot of things over the years. Some of them I miss dearly — handpicked bouquets of dandelions, hair in pigtails, and hearing them scream, “Higher, Mommy!” as I pushed them on a swing, just to name a few. And of course, there are a few that I definitely DO NOT miss — namely all the dirty diapers, overtired afternoon tantrums, and having Legos underfoot constantly…
But there’s one thing I don’t think they’ll ever outgrow: Wet Ones® Hand Wipes. Because whether they’re five or fifteen, germs and sticky messes are a constant with kids. And Wet Ones are the ideal solution for quick clean-ups after sticky foods, greasy dirt, and everyday messes in general, especially when soap and water aren’t available.
My Top 5 Wish I Had A Wet Ones® Moments
Along with my beloved kitchen shears and favorite stain remover, Wet Ones® have earned a spot in my personal Sanity Savers Hall of Fame. They’re part of my every day arsenal and an essential on road trips, for soccer tournaments, basically for any summer outdoor activity on our family bucket list.
Not convinced? Here are just a few #WishIHadaWetOnes moments we’ve encountered recently…
Sticky Toasted Marshmallow Hands
Toasting marshmallows over our backyard fire pit is one of our favorite summer evening activities. We’ve eliminated some of the chaos and mess by creating these simple DIY s’mores kits, but sticky hands are inevitable. And sticky toasted marshmallow goo tends to travel to faces, clothing, and even hair (true story!), so we use Wet Ones® to attack it at its source.
Drippy Ice Cream Hands
Even my older kids still have not mastered eating an ice cream cone without dripping melted ice cream everywhere. We always grab a big stack of napkins to sop up the mess, but sticky hands are still left behind. Again, Wet Ones® to the rescue!
While Eating In The Car
Between soccer, softball, and vacation, we take frequent road trips throughout the summer. We always pack plenty of healthy snacks for the road, which allows us to reach our destination a little more quickly. And before every trip, I check to make sure we’re well stocked on Wet Ones®, along with these other road trip essentials. I prefer to stash the individually wrapped wipes in the car, because I never have to worry about them drying out when the temperature heats up in the summer.
When A Portable Toilet Is The Only Option
Portable toilets are pretty high on my ick list, but too often, they’re the only option available. And when you gotta go, you gotta go! I stash Wet Ones® Singles in my purse and my kids’ soccer and softball bags for those occasions when the hand sanitizer dispenser is dry as a bone — which happens all too often at tournaments.
Dirty Muddy Hands
My kids never pass up the opportunity to play in the mud, but my youngest has always been especially drawn to it. He lives for wet, muddy soccer games, you know, because it’s ever so much more fun to play soccer in the mud! I can’t say that I enjoy watching quite as much in a downpour, but it’s all a day in the life of a soccer mom. I just make sure to pack extra Wet Ones®, so he can at least clean off his hands before digging into his post-game snack.
