It’s no secret that I love coffee… I love its rich, bold flavor — in my book there’s no such thing as “too strong.”
However, I know that often my guests prefer a less intense shot of coffee, so I always try to keep a lighter roast on hand to share with a friend. For the holiday season, the Starbucks Holiday Blend is the perfect roast for all occasions. Smooth with a hint of spice, this medium roast coffee is amazing served hot with a touch of cream and sugar, but if you really want to impress your guests, try it in this quick and easy caramel coffee recipe.
Besides a bag of Starbucks Holiday Blend, you’ll also want to pick up a bottle each of Torani Cinnamon Syrup and Torani Caramel Sauce. Luckily, you can find all three of these items in the coffee aisle at Walmart. Convenient, huh? Oh, and make sure you head back to the dairy case for a bottle of whipped cream… Hey, I never said this was a low-cal coffee drink!
The ratios of the various ingredients in this caramel coffee recipe make the recipe super simple to remember, meaning you can play barista at home and totally impress your guests! It’s two tablespoons of cinnamon syrup (or two pumps if you find a Torani syrup bottle pump) and two tablespoons of caramel sauce. Add in 2/3 cup of Starbucks Holiday Blend brewed coffee and 1/3 cup of steamed milk.
Not sure how to make steamed milk at home? Simply heat the milk in a saucepan on the stove top until you see steam rising from it. Then whisk it with a wire whisk until it’s bubbly and frothy. Easy-peasy!
