Lightly brush both sides of each tortilla with the melted butter. If you're making the sweet tortilla bowls, mix together the cinnamon and sugar in a small bowl. Sprinkle the mixture on both sides over the melted butter.
Lay the tortillas over small oven-safe bowls turned upside down or over a jumbo muffin tin. Bake for about 3 minutes, until the tortillas are soft and pliable.
Remove the tortillas from the oven, and immediately turn the bowls or muffin tin over. Working quickly, press each tortilla down into a bowl or muffin cup, folding it and forming it into a cup shape.
Place the tortilla bowls back into the oven, and bake for 10-12 minutes, until the tortillas are crispy and browning around the edges. Remove the tortilla bowls immediately and place on a wire cooling rack to cool completely, about 15 minutes.
