Instructions

  1. Empty the entire bottle of glue into a large mixing bowl. Pour the water into the empty glue container, shake it up to get all of the remaining glue, and pour it into the bowl, as well. Mix well.
  2. Gradually add the liquid starch to the glue mixture, stirring as you go. It will become difficult to stir toward the end, but be sure to add it all.
  3. Knead the slime until it becomes uniform in texture, about 5 minutes or so. It may not be super stretchy at this point, but it will relax once the glitter is added in and it rests for a bit.
  4. Divide the slime into 6 pieces. Sprinkle one glitter packet over one portion of slime and work it into the slime until the glitter is completely incorporated. Repeat for the remaining 5 portions of slime.
  5. Layer all six colors of slime into a small plastic storage container.

Notes

Note that the clear school glue also comes in a larger 9-oz. bottle and even a giant 32-oz. bottle (BEST DEAL!). If you pick one of these up instead, just use 2/3 cup of glue and 1/3 cup of water to stay true to the recipe.
