- wet floral foam
- filler items such as ornaments, apples, fresh cranberries, citrus fruits, etc.
- fresh flowers
- filler greenery
Instructions
- Fill the vase up with your desired filler items, leaving enough space at the top to place a round container securely in the vase.
- Cut a piece of wet floral foam so that it’s about twice as tall as the bowl you’re using. Soak it thoroughly with water. Then gently press it down inside the bowl.
- Using floral shears, trim the bottom of each flower at a sharp angle as you go. Start placing the flowers randomly into the wet floral foam, with the goal of creating a spherical look. If you're using a variety of sizes, start with the largest flowers first, working your way down to the smallest.
- Fill in and add fullness with filler greenery.
