How to Make Homemade Butter
Make your own butter at home using just heavy cream and a stand mixer! This easy homemade butter recipe takes less than 10 minutes to make and yields one cup of butter.

Instructions
Fit your stand mixer with the whisk attachment.
Add heavy whipping cream to the mixing bowl, and whip on high for approximately 5 minutes. The cream will separate into butter and buttermilk.
Strain off the buttermilk, and save it for later use or discard.
Rinse and knead the butter in a clean bowl under cold water until the water runs clear. Stir salt into the homemade butter, as desired.
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Use within 10-14 days.
