This 3-ingredient baked eggs recipe is super simple and delicious! Also known as shirred eggs, baking eggs in the oven is an easy way to cook many individual servings of eggs for a crowd.
Adjust oven rack to middle position and heat oven to 325℉.
Lightly butter 4 ramekins and arrange them on a rimmed baking sheet.
Gently crack one egg into each ramekin, being careful not to break the yolk.
Spoon ½ tablespoon heavy cream over the top of each egg. Then sprinkle each with kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
Bake at 325℉ 12-14 minutes, until the whites are completely set and the yolks are beginning to thicken but aren't hard. Keep in mind that the eggs will continue to cook even after being removed from the oven.
Remove from oven and serve immediately. Season with additional salt and pepper to taste.
