These pepperoni pizza crescent rolls are SO simple to make and absolutely amazing! Kids and adults alike adore these crispy, flaky crescent rolls filled with gooey, melted mozzarella cheese and pepperoni...

Pepperoni Pizza Crescent Rolls
My kids love pizza rolls, like a lot. However, while I appreciate their convenience, I am not a fan the frozen store bought variety. They can be greasy, and I just don't care for the texture or flavor.
On the other hand, I wholeheartedly stand behind these crescent pizza rolls! I mean, you can't go wrong when you stuff crispy, flaky crescent rolls, with gooey, melted mozzarella cheese and pepperoni? Especially when you add a drizzle of olive oil infused with Italian seasoning and Parmesan cheese over the top.
Ooh, I think I need to go make another batch RIGHT. NOW!! And why not? These homemade pizza rolls are super easy to make — even my kids can work together assembly line style to prep them.
How To Make Pizza Rolls
The basic pizza roll recipe is made with just a can of Pillsbury crescent rolls, mozzarella cheese sticks, and sliced pepperoni or mini pepperonis. My preference is the mini pepperonis, but I'll let you make that call for yourself!
You start by laying half of a mozzarella cheese stick on the wide edge of an unrolled crescent roll, along with your choice of pepperoni. Then you roll the whole thing up burrito style, which just means you fold the sides inward over the cheese and pepperoni and continue rolling as you would roll a crescent roll.
Parmesan Italian Seasoning Infused Oil
You could just bake the pepperoni crescent rolls at this point. But I highly recommend making this unfused olive oil drizzle!
Simply whisk together some extra virgin olive oil, Parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning. Then drizzle the mixture over the top of the unbaked crescent roll pizza rolls and bake them until they're golden brown.
This step is definitely so worth the extra couple of minutes! It adds another level of flavor, and the pizza croissants turn out extra crispy.
Tips For Making Homemade Pizza Rolls
BTW, did you notice that I used my Reynolds parchment paper baking sheets? Cleanup is soooooo easy — love these things!
What To Serve With Crescent Pizza Rolls
Served on a platter with your favorite pizza sauce, this is tailgating fare at its finest. However, we're just as likely to serve them for dinner on a busy weeknight with a big bowl of salad. Either way, this is a must-try recipe!
