Choosing A New Delta Touch2O Kitchen Faucet #DeltaFaucetInspired

Delta Touch2O Cassidy Kitchen Faucet

There's no denying it -- my kids are messy eaters. My crumb-covered kitchen floor and peanut butter and jelly-smeared cabinets are a testament to this fact. Spilled milk is no longer something to cry over, because it's a near everyday occurrence, and they all know the cleanup drill by now.

Kitchen Sink Before

That's my kitchen sink now pictured above. I can't tell you how many times I've stood at my it, covered to nearly my elbows in some sticky, drippy mess, trying to finagle the faucet on without sliming it at the same time. Surely you've been there too, right?

I've seen the Delta Touch2O kitchen faucets on TV and marveled over their amazing touch technology. If you haven't seen the commercials, the Delta Touch2O technology allows you to simply tap anywhere on the faucet spout, hub or handle to activate the flow of water. A second tap shuts the water flow off again, or the faucet will automatically turn off after four minutes to conserve water. Pretty cool, huh?

I'm thrilled to be working as a brand ambassador with Delta for the next couple of months. As part of the campaign, I get to install one of their beautiful Touch2O faucets in my kitchen and share my experience with you all! But first I have to choose from one of their five stylish and beautiful kitchen faucets and then select a finish...

Luckily Delta provides a number of tools on their website to assist in selecting a faucet. Take their style and kitchen personality quizzes to learn what distinct kitchen design best describes you, or you can browse by decorating style in the kitchen to find the images that inspire you most.

Delta Cassidy Kitchen Faucet

Initially I considered the contemporary Trinsic design, but after perusing the photos and much consideration, I've settled on the more traditional Cassidy design. However, I'm having a tough time deciding on whether to go with the arctic stainless or chrome finish. I'd love some input from you all on which way to go. My current faucet is stainless and I'm happy with the finish, but lately I've been drawn to the flashier chrome faucets when looking at kitchens on Pinterest.

So help me out -- would you choose the stainless or the chrome finish? I have experience with stainless, but are there any pros or cons to the chrome?

Delta Touch2O Technology for your kitchen and bathroom is precisely in tune with your every touch. Take the quiz to learn which faucet style best describes you at deltafaucet.com.

  • Hi Tara, I think these faucets are awesome! Super convenient and extremely practical. I would go for the chrome...I can't supply too much first hand advice about pros or cons. However, if you're drawn to the flashy, shiny chrome, I'm certain you will like it. :)

I love the traditional faucett. I probably would choose the stainless. It seems to me that chrome is a little harder to keep shiny because it spots. Probably not good for five kids. Ask the company what they would recommend!
