Spicy Shrimp Romesco with Quick & Easy Cheesy Grits

Spicy Shrimp Romesco with Cheesy Grits

I'm pretty sure I must have lived in the South in another life -- biscuits and gravy, sweet tea, and shrimp and grits all make my tastebuds sing. I just can't get enough of them!

Luckily, making a delicious plate of shrimp and grits just got a whole lot easier, thanks to Bumble Bee SuperFresh™. Their new line of SuperFresh™ seafood makes getting great tasting, high quality fish and shrimp on the table easier than grilling a burger -- something we find ourselves doing quite frequently this time of year.

Bumblebee SuperFresh

Bumble Bee SuperFresh™ gets its freshness of flavor by cleaning, cutting and freezing their shrimp and fish within hours. Only premium quality salmon, tilapia, shrimp are used, and Bumble Bee® pays premium price for its seafood to ensure top quality. Plus Bumble Bee® has created seafood recipes that use only ingredients that are real and natural, and no chemicals or preservatives or mystery ingredients you need a science degree to pronounce.

Spicy Shrimp Romesco

Preparing new Bumble Bee SuperFresh™ seafood is so easy -- all of the recipes are designed to be baked or sautéed right out of the freezer. Salmon bakes to perfection in 20 minutes; Tilapia in 17, both in the included folded parchment paper, and shrimp sautees to a delicious doneness in about 6 minutes. And my favorite part? Cleanup is super simple since everything is included!

We especially loved the flavor of the Bumble Bee SuperFresh™ Spicy Shrimp Romesco. The sauce is packed with ingredients like vine-ripened tomatoes, red wine vinegar, extra virgin olive oil, white wine, garlic, shallots, cayenne pepper and more. I served over a bed of quick and easy cheesy grits, for a stick-to-your-ribs kind of meal.

Shrimp Romesco with Cheesy Grits

Making the cheesy grits is every bit as simple as preparing the Spicy Shrimp Romesco. Both can be ready in under 15 minutes!

Quick & Easy Cheesy Grits

Yield: 6 servings

Quick & Easy Cheesy Grits

  • 3 cups chicken stock
  • 1 cup polenta corn grits
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  1. Bring chicken stock to a boil in a saucepan.
  2. Add corn grits and turn heat down to medium-low. Stir with a long-handled spoon until the mixture thickens, about 3-5 minutes.
  3. Stir in butter and grated Parmesan cheese.
  4. Serve warm.

Bumble Bee SuperFresh™ also offers Salmon with Garden Pesto, Salmon with Garlicky Black Pepper & Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Tilapia with Garlic & Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Tilapia with Lemon, Pepper & Herbs, and Lemon Shrimp with Garlic & Herbs.

This post brought to you by Bumble Bee SuperFresh™. I have been compensated and given free product for my time & commitment, but all opinions are 100% mine.

What is the step by step recipe for the shrimp? Thank you!

    • Hi Shawn! The shrimp is actually just Bumble Bee SuperFresh™ Shrimp Romesco. It's pretty delicious for a simple bagged shrimp meal!

I researched online, but unfortunately they don't sell that product in Atlanta, GA. Thanks for looking out!

That's a bummer. This article is just an ad for some frozen fish. BS.
