Lingering over dessert with family and friends after a fantastic holiday meal is one of those moments that I like to savor, and in my opinion, dessert isn’t complete without a hot pot of coffee to accompany it.
But sometimes I want something a little stronger with dessert, and that’s when I like to pull out a bottle of Kahlúa to jazz things up a bit. In this case, I chose to use my favorite Kahlúa Pumpkin Spice liqueur to create an after dinner pumpkin spice coffee that pairs perfectly with the pumpkin pies and pumpkin cheesecakes of this season!
Topped off with whipped cream and a sprinkling of pumpkin pie spice, this delicious Kahlúa pumpkin spice coffee is almost a dessert in itself!
This after dinner coffee recipe is super versatile, as well. Try Kahlúa Peppermint with a sprinkling of crushed candy canes on top or Kahlúa French Vanilla with a dash of cinnamon depending on the occasion and/or desserts being served!
By the way, dessert doesn’t have to be complicated! Would you believe that I purchased all of these desserts at the grocery store bakery? Check out these tips for dressing up store bought baked goods, and give yourself a break from the holiday chaos.
